The Manrals Resort, located just before the town of Ramnagar in the village of Chhoi, wrapped in the arms of mother nature and away from all the Hustle and bustle, is the perfect place to stay in the Jim Corbett National Park area.
We wanted a peaceful yet fun stay-cation and chose Jim Corbett as the location, with the Manrals Resort as the place to stay. The Resort was spacious and looked elegant. With all public pools inaccessible due to the pandemic, it was a pleasant surprise to have the pool at our disposal. We were very apprehensive about safety norms but they cleaned the pool every day and the water was changed periodically. The shower rooms were also clean though one wing was still under construction and they had spa services as well!
There was a children's playground with safe swings and a trampoline too. In addition to this there was a huge garden, a lawn, a games room with a pool table and table tennis set up and all you have to do is ask and they even give bats and racquets.
Being a family of four, at first we were doubtful if we could survive a whole week in one room given we had classes and office but the room itself was big and airy with one king sized bed, space to put extra mattress or a cot for senior citizens (more mattress could be requested), the necessary furniture and an attached balcony and the cherry on top was the extremely well sized washroos. Kudos to the the housekeeping team for keeping the spotless during our stay.
Another thing which managed to impress us was the food. The food was delicious and their cooks were really impressive. Since we were the only guests availing the dining facilities during the week, the staff was courteous enough to ask us our preferences. The snacks at the high tea were also very tasty and their chicken gravy and paneer was to die for!
The Staff in the hotel was very well mannered and helpful, they took care of all our needs and made us feel comfortable. The reception reacted very quickly too and our problems were solved as soon as possible.
Perhaps, the most impressive thing about the resort was the serene and peaceful estate. We could even hear the river flowing behind the hotel at times. Being located before the town of Ramnagar and not in the main area of the Jim Corbett national park, there was not a lot of rush around and it was very connected to nature.
On the first day itself, we went for a walk to the river Kosi which is 10 mins away from the resort. The trail from the hotel to the river was very fun and it was a great spot to spend some time, the river flowing on the side, the quiet surroundings, the view of the mountains and the greenery around just made the whole experience magical. Then you could go from the river to the nearby Hanuman Dham Mandir which is one of the most famous and beautiful Corbett temple. This was also arranged by the resort and one of the staff took us.
The only thing which could be improved was the coverage of WiFi, which was not continuous, though they are already working on that and are even planning to expand. For Mobile Data, Airtel and Jio both were working whereas Vodafone was not.
I recommend staying at the Manrals Resort and Spa to every one who wants to visit Jim Corbett and a special thanks to the General Manager- Mr.Vishal, Resort Manager- Mr. Zafar, Mr. Hussain, the Chef Mr. Mahesh and Ms. Rekha, for making this trip amazing!

Well written Manya. You may want to add that this property is also ideal for an office offsite ( they have a large conference facility) and for a marriage or any social event. An awesome and memorable staycation for us !!
