The COVID-19 cases are on a rise again and travel is hardly practical and safe now. All of us are missing the outdoors, so we thought what better to write about than some of the best virtual tours of places both within and out of India. Today we bring to you, virtual tours of some of the best museums.


1. Albertina (Vienna, Austria)

The Albertina features one of the most important European collections of international modern art and houses one of the largest and most important print rooms in the world with approximately 65,000 drawings and 1 million old master prints. Hundreds of the works housed in the museum, like Study for the Last Supper by Da Vinci and The Water Lily Pond by Monet, can be viewed online thanks to a partnership with Google Arts and Culture.

2. Art Institute of Chicago (Chicago, Illinois)

The Art Institute of Chicago is one of the oldest and largest art museums in the U.S., hosting approximately 1.5 million people annually. The online tour allows you to view major pieces from the museum’s collection, like American Gothic, A Sunday on La Grande Jatte, and Nighthawks.

3. The Broad (Los Angeles, California)

The Broad is a contemporary art museum named after philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad. The Broad houses a nearly 2,000-piece collection of contemporary art, featuring up to 200 artists. The Broad has put together a series of YouTube videos to give you a first-hand look at its incredible Infinity Mirror room paired alongside some beautiful music to provide a deeper level of immersion.
